// OPERATIONAL ASSESSMENT
A command node was expected to need a second command node. It did not.
One operator. One base. One roster — the real one, not a placeholder squad assembled for the occasion. The personnel deployed were the personnel on file.
The sequence held: deployment, engagement, resolution, return. Nothing in that chain asked for a second party to exist.
On return, the operational clock had not been paused for convenience, diverted, or quietly reset. It resumed exactly where it had stood at the moment of deployment — as if no time had passed for the world outside the engagement, because for the world outside the engagement, none had.
// WHY IT IS BUILT THIS WAY
Every command node in this operation is sovereign by design. That was never a co-operative flourish bolted onto a solo game, and it was never a solo mode bolted onto a co-operative one. It is the same architecture either way.
A commander operating alone is not a degraded case of a commander operating with allies. It is the baseline the whole model is built from. Working with another sovereign node is additive. It was never load-bearing.
No second signal was required to confirm this loop. That is the point of the transmission.
Development continues. Next transmission when there is something worth transmitting.
